The Trilomore Campaign[AD&D (2nd edition) campaign] |
|
The earliest days of this campaign (once known as the Baidien and Trill Campaign) are clouded by the passage of many years and an unfortunate lack of note-taking. Since it was set to take place in the well-established World of Greyhawk, Steve C. requested that his new character, Trilomore Greenleaf, start as an apprentice of Loakian Haith (Jim M.'s mage from the Rex and Loakian Campaigns). When this was agreed upon, the campaign officially became a spinoff of the Loakian Campaign. Unfortunately, much of the early details of Baidien and Trill's adventures have been lost by the passage of time. The date on Baiden's character record is August 1st 1982 and whether or not this was the actual starting date of the campaign is uncertain. Furthermore, Gordon C's character record for Tempus has the date of November 6th 1982 scrawled on it. The handwritten campaign log wasn't actually started until March 24th 1983 and much of what took place before this date is now long forgotten. There remains only a few scattered notes describing some of the events during that period. -fraz- GM: fraz The Game Dates The dates on the left-hand side of each page represent the days in "game time" and are not the actual dates of the playing sessions. These dates are meant to be interpreted thusly: day season year Trill Campaign Specifics In these early days of our gaming we were perfectly happy to use the familiar real-world calendar (including the month names) in our game logs. But in the 29 March 2001 session, as Jim M. takes over the game log, the calendar is finally converted over to a more generalized system. Four seasons of 90 days each now make up each year in Trilomore's World of Greyhawk. So these new dates are now to be interpreted thusly: day season year The Brackets The session dates (and sometimes other out-of-character information, such as: page numbers, hit points, damage, etc..) are indicated in brackets. The Bold Characters Persons, places or items that are appearing for the first time in the story (or are being reintroduced) are marked in bold character. |
