Over the years I've created a few music compilations to play during our game sessions. These were, for lack of a better name, referred to as the "D&D Tapes". Four seperate tapes (labled volumes one though four) were created approximately between 1983 and 1994.
Volume 1
The very first compilation was an audio cassette tape on which I recorded selections played during a Sunday evening heavy metal radio show (which aired on 104.1 WBCN here in Boston, MA). The original tape was only 60 minutes long and so did not include all of the songs listed below. Sometime later when I began creating the follow up volumes, I re-recorded the songs from vinyl LPs. I found, however, that with the full versions of some of the songs the 60 minute tape wasn't long enough and decided to expand it to a 90 minute tape. Thus, with a longer tape I was able to add a few more songs, finally rounding out Volume 1 to where it stands today.
Volume 2
created 07 April 1986
Volume 3
created 17 August 1986
revised 16 Nov 1993
Volume 4
created 07 July 1994
